4 Days Left!

Last night I was a good boy and had my smoothie for dinner. I feel great this morning, with plenty of vitamins and energy to do Soaring-Chi Yoga Hypnotherapy. Its a good thing Iv'e got an early start because I have a busy day at the office helping people quit smoking. Well dear readers, its time to make my juice and start the day. May your day be as beautiful as your heart is,  Namaste

25

Only five days left, and I can start adding recipes for you guys and gals :-)  Iv'e made a couple more modifications to the diet. Missing dinners have been really rough, and I know that people need at least 250 calories for breakfast each morning so....., I've decided that if there are any left overs from dinner, I can eat them for breakfast :-) This morning I have Chili with cornbread! Why not, people have breakfast for dinner right? I have also noticed that even though I have been juicing everyday, I have not been doing the smoothie like originally planned. However, when I do the smoothie at night, I have more motivation to make my juice in the morning. After posting my 30 days of juice recipes, I should probably do another 30 days to incorporate the smoothies for dinner. Untill tomorow loyal friends! Day 24

Woo-hoo! We have almost made it everyone. Today I am craving coffee super bad, but I am strengthening my determination and making juice instead. Choices are really important in creating lasting change. We always have a choice, and when a person chooses to not make a decision, they may not like the choice that has been made for them. Today I make the choice to choose healthy habits, instead of what just comes easy. I hope you are making the right choices in your life too loyal friends. Healthy Changes Day 23

Hey everyone!

Thanks for visiting my blog again :-) Its funny for me to think back over these days of change. Even now, being so close I am still having days that I do not feel like juicing. Today was another tough day. My daughter was crying early this morning because her arm was hurting. I am worn out from all the stress and worry. Tonight I will be doing self-hypnosis for sure. When I stress my back usually starts to hurt, which makes everything a little difficult. Especially when I am not doing my yoga, like I haven't for the last 3 days. However, tomorrow morning I am jumping back into my yoga routine. I drank about 1/3 of what I usually drink today, because I ran out of lemons, and I spilled the jar after I put it in the fridge..., arrgh all that nutrition wasted :-/ The juice I made today just has carrots, apples, and a bulb of fennel. It was pretty darn tasty. See you tomorrow, as the trance--form--ation continues.

22 the day after

This is another day, that it if were not for this blog....., I would probably not juice. Last night after the Christmas party at my Uncles was over, my poor little daughter fell and broke her arm. I calmly drove her to the hospital and told her everything would be ok. After we arrived at the emergency room, it took hours to be seen. I could not bear to see my daughter in so much pain, so I hypnotized her while we waited to keep her comfortable and calm. After we got home, she was able to fall asleep after watching a cartoon. However, I stayed up almost all night being a worried parent, reading about her condition, and thinking about everything that caring parents think about. Even with very little sleep, I pulled my face out of bed, and juiced the yummiest blend I've made to date. Cheers everyone, I hope your holiday was much more pleasant than ours. See you tomorrow, and may peaceful intent lead your actions

Day 21: A Hypnotic Christmas

Ho ho ho! Christmas your not taking my diet out that easily! ;-p

Today I have two lunches to attend, so I am planning carefully. A good plan is the path to success, but not planning makes a person accept possible failing. I also think that good planning can increase a persons determination, which is a nice perk. Instead of juicing for lunch I'm going to have to drink it up this morning like I used to when I first started the theory. I'll have to spread my second lunch out, eat small amounts, and do the smoothie tonight. Its cool to think Iv'e only got 9 days left and I have 30 days under my belt. I am definitely going for another 30. I think I am going to post 30 days of recipes for my juice and smoothie to further motivate me to stick to it better than over the last 30. Hypno-Yogi signing off for now dear readers. Have a joyous holiday.

Self-Improvement Day 20

Happy Christmas eve everybody!

Last night I got plenty of sleep, drank my smoothie, and this morning I feel fabulous :-) Juicing this morning was a breeze, and I think through all the ups and downs, along with the learning curve, I am finally starting to get accustomed to the new diet. Only 10 days left until I start posting recipes. What I will probably do after these 30 days are over is post a week of recipies so you can all get an idea of what I am doing, then I will post a week of my whole daily dietary pattern. Finally, we will be talking about the fitness plans, and dietary theories and weight loss plans I have created. I didn't think I had lost any weight, until I tried to put on a pair of last years winter pants. I have gone down at least 4 sizes :-)

Untill tomorow my loyal readers. If you would like to learn more about me and what I do to help people move beyond their goals check out my website and facebook pages: www.NorthStateHypnosis.net  and www.facebook.com/northstatehypnosis

Hypnosis and Weight Loss Day 19

Today, I have to say that I would not be juicing if it were not for this blog. Lack of sleep is definitely a factor in my motivations to excessive and eat well. It could also be because I didn't have my smoothie last night. I feel like the holiday season is making it difficult for me to stick with this plan. The real sucky thing is that it is proving difficult to eat up all the raw produce I have been buying to get me through the week. The simple reason is because...., I have not been doing a smoothie every night for dinner. It looks like I am going to have to do some more self-hypnosis tonight to get myself on track. Also, it seems like I need to do the smoothie as soon as I get home from work. Then if I do eat a normal dinner with friends or family, I will already be full, so maybe I will eat less, and lose more weight :-)

Weight Loss Day 18

Here we go! I have started doing 100 reps of various bodyweight exercises every day. I am still in the process of completing level one Soaring-Chi Yoga Hypnotherapy. I have also realized that I have to alternate the beets in my lunch juice, so that I dont over work my liver. I am still taking the Tribulus, and it seems to give me an extra edge in my daily workouts, or it could just be placebo. Time will tell! See you all tomorow loyal friends. Have a happy Winter Solstice ;-)

Weight Loss Day 17:

Original Weight Loss Posts

Hey Everyone, Thanks for reading my blog. Over the following paragraphs, you will learn a lot about me, and my struggles to accomplish the goals in my life. The first goal I have is to get physically fit for summer. To do this I have started juicing and drinking smoothies everyday. I started posting information on this first struggle on my Facebook page. To catch everyone up to speed here are all of my previous posts from that FB thread ;-)

December 6th Now its time to be a little more serious..., Two days ago I was joking about going on a Red Bull cleanse, but I really did make a huge shift in my diet. For breakfast every morning I have been juicing, having a normal American lunch, and making a smoothie for dinner. What results do you think I will see within the next 28 days? Im on my second day in, and I have not had any coffee, have not had a craving for it, no headache, nothing. Strangely I feel full all day too, but I do add some pulp back to the juice in the morning. Ill keep this thread going to keep everyone updated on the results.

Today is day 3 and I feel great! My eyes feel brighter, and my body is already showing more definition. On Monday next week I start the excersize program.

4th day: My cravings for depleted food are diminishing. I have a sandwich for lunch yesterday, and found it totally unenjoyable, could only eat half of what I would normally eat. My evening eating frenzies have stopped also. Only got 5 hours of sleep last night and I still feel alert and happy. No need for coffee, but I was looking forward to yoga and juice this morning. My muscles feel more toned, but I did notice some weakness in my shoulders and arms. I'll be adding more protein to my smoothie tonight. All and all, its going quite well so far ;-)

Day 5: Felt like I had a little low blood sugar this morning. I had to add a boiled egg for some extra protein this morning, but I am still on track. 5 days in, I feel like I've accomplished something, and my pooch is shrinking already :-) Our whole molecular structure is made up of the components we ingest. Aristotle once said "Our food should be our medicine, and our medicine should be our food." Hippocrates also said we should "Put the dinner table in the garden." One more thing I noticed for Day 5. After brushing my teeth this morning I noticed that I have a ton of healthy color in my face now :-) If you get into greens that do not agree with your pallet, apples and lemon will disguise the flavor. Apples sweeten it up, and lemon neutralizes it out ;-)

Day 6! My body has accepted the new diet in a great way. Today I started my fitness plan again. 100 push ups, and plenty of energy for the rest of the day ;-) Extra tip: I exercise before drinking my juice. It prepares my muscles for all the nutrition I am about to consume ;-)

Ok, I was a bad boy last night and had three peices of peperoni pizza for dinner, but if it makes the blog any better, I didnt enjoy that bready, greasy, thing at all ;-) However, I jumped right back in this morning with yummy fresh juice. Only got 4 hours of sleep, and I felt great enough to pump out 100 pull-ups, now its time to write up a 1200 word essay on how drug and alcohol addictions affect the family.

Day 8! Well everyone I made it through one whole week. I'm pretty exited about that :-) Last nigh was tough again with the smoothie, looks like Im going to have to do some self-hypnosis to reprogram my evening eating habits. I did at least drink one smoothie, but it was much smaller than usual, and I ate a slice of quesodilla, which had nasty yellow cheddar cheese and a depleted white flour tortilla. However, slowly and surly I am transitioning into a healthier lifestyle. Until tomorrow loyal friends ;-)

Well..., day 9 was a day off. No juice, no smoothie. Chimichangas, Nachos, and greasy nasty foods all day :-(

Self-hypnosis tonight, and back on track today for day 10. Tomorrow the struggle for health continues loyal friends. My eggnog, persimmon, banana smoothie was pretty delicious tonight. I'm converting to a 75-80% raw diet. I juice kale in the morning, that stuff is dense! I found my Juiceman Jr at the Thrifty Bargon for $10! Look around town and see if you can find anything first. I like the centrificule force ones because it's real easy to take the blade out and clean it after squishing ginger and celery.

Day 11! Lucky day, doing well. too much time on my hands ;-) I am a trained Chef. I worked in restaurants for about 5 years and went to culinary school. I make up my own recipes, but I can post some up if you guys are interested. Tonight's smoothie: 2 banana's, 2T freshly ground peanut butter, 1/4 large papaya, almond milk to smooth ;-)

Day 12: Feelin' just fine, but its funny how many people want to take me out to dinner while I incorporate a new diet. This is going to take some serious planning ;-) This mornings juice: 2 red apples, 2 green apples, a nice hunk of beet, an egg sized chunk of Ginger, 2 large navel oranges, 4 carrots, 1 leaf Kale, 1 leaf red chard, 1 small handful spinach, 2 large sticks of celery. Clean blade after Ginger and celery. Add 1/4 cup of pulp back. This drink should be drank the same day, all the way up till lunch. After lunch much of the vital nutrition would have already escaped. Raw fruit Polysaccharides breakdown slowly and do not spike my blood sugar ;-)

I need to get a wheat grass squisher for organic kale, parsley, and stuff. Day 13..., day off. Ahhhhhhh I dont think I have lost any weight, but I am more muscular.

I'm taking one more day off, and am going to drink the juice throughout the whole day instead of chugging it all for breakfast. I'm still doing the smoothies for dinner.

Back on track. Banana, blueberry, peanut butter, almond milk smoothie for dinner Day 15: Wow, talk about some ups and downs. Its interesting how difficult diet modification can be. I think I am going to add a boiled egg or half an egg sandwich in the morning for breakfasts. Maybe I can eat the other half for lunch :-) I may have to add another small meal at 2 before dinner also. I heard about a Dr in town that is giving injections of testosterone and B12 to his weight loss clients. I get plenty of B from all the apples I juice, so I did the research on a natural testosterone supplement. What I found was a product called Tribulus Terrestris. Stay tuned, it should be here by Wednesday, and they say it will take three days to saturate my system. Just did a little more research on Tribulus Terrestris and found out..., it is the same annoying plant that pops my bike tires every year. Yep that's right Goat-heads! Never in my life did I think I would want to harvest Goat-heads! lol, if it works this year I will be :-)

Ok, Tribulus is here, tried it today. Had more energy through my work out and did 100 extra pull-ups. Drank my juice for lunch and feel WAYYY better :-) Day 16, here we go
