Hello Everyone!

I cannot promise that I will save any damsels in distress, catch a huge fish, or wrestle down a bear. However, I will try to become a vegetarian for one year. During this year I hope to see benefits to my health. My blood pressure is a little high, but overall I am in pretty good shape. I don't smoke, no drugs, and I only drink a pint of scotch to pickle my liver every morning between texting, shaving, and driving to work every morning.

Time is a big issue! I will attempt to begin my dietary feat on new years day. I have the advantage that I am a trained chef. Unfortunately, I focused on more traditional culinary arts, and was raised with the southern diet. My sweet little grandma makes some yummy chocolate fried pies, I wonder if they are vegetarian :-)

I Have decided to invest in this new project by initially investing in some vegetarian magazines and cookbooks to see what pops up. With the recipie that I gather I am going to try to work with left over ingredients and be frugal. I will try to give you the best recipies

It does not help that Trance works a lot of hours, gets paid little, is a single father, and is a full time student. Trance does not even know if he will be able to make the transition or not. The question remains "Will Trance become a vegetarian, and maintain vegetarianism for one full year?

Peacefully,

Trance
